Capture One Pro 8 on Windows Tablet?
I tried installing Capture One Pro 8 (Sony) on my Winbook tablet with Windows 8.1 but got message that it only runs on 64-bit. My tablet is Atom-based. Is there a way to make it run on Windows tablet?
Would be really nice if it would run on Windows tablet even if just the tethering portion. Doing so will preclude buying HDMI field monitor.

The screen might be a bit small but C1 would probably run quite well on a Surface 3 with an i7 and as much memory/storage as can be obtained.

Runs decent even on a surface 1 pro with D800 .nef files. I use it when I travel. Screen size is a problem, eg. The color editor opens only undocked, and you have to alter the right click for the touch screen. Supports OpenCl. I am quite happy. 0 -
Thank you for the replies. The Surface, however, would go over my budget, especially with a wide selection of Windows 8 tablets at very low prices. I only intend to use Capture One Pro's Live View feature on the tablet, to replace my Lilliput 7" 1024x600 field monitor. I shoot architecture and presently use the field monitor so the architects can see the composition before I shoot. A 10" Windows 8 tablet costing $200-$300 running Capture One Pro Live View would be a big improvement. I do not intend to edit photos on the tablet.
I would like to know if there are any Atom processors that are of the Itanium 64 class and would therefore be compatible with Capture One Pro.
If not, I will use my i7 laptop although a bit cumbersome moving my gear from room to room...
Thanks a lot.0 -
Google search for "intel atom 64 bit tablet". Don't look for Itanium 64, as that won't help you. 0 -
Thank you, Paul. I will google and look for one with at least 2GB of RAM. 0
