C1 Pro Crashing When Browsing Folders
Hi All. This is my first post though have read this forum for a week or so since I started having problems with my software.
As the title says, C1 is crashing when I browse a particular folder (containg subfolders) of images. It comes up with the report that C1 has encountered a problem and needs to close etc etc. When I close this dialogue box it then comes up with the warning that "The instruction at "0x7c168f1d" referenced memory at "0x000000001c". The memory cannot be "read". Click OK to terminate the program"
This only appears to be an issue with Raw images if a folder that was initially downloaded from a CF card onto a Mac laptop before being transfered to my PC. It is a real pain as these images will open up and covert in Nikon Capture / Editor etc as well as PS CS2. If I was happy with these programs I would not have bought C1 Pro.
Does any one know how to work around / fix this issue? All appears to be fine when opening other folders / files. To get C1 to function again I must rename/delete the offending folder so C1 doesn't see it on launch and defaults to the upper level folders.
I'm on a PC running XP SP2 dual processor with 2GB ram, C1 pro v 3.7.6
Any ideas? I'm tearing my (little remaining) hair out.
Thanks Nic.
