Noise Reduction

I Really like Capture One for many many reasons, however there is something that I dislike a lot: Noise reduction. While I have a great amount of control over my image, and i get very good color with defaults, I can't say im very happy with noise Reduction, specially when I increase color noise reduction I lose too much detail for my taste and sometimes I'd rather turn sharpening off because a lot of odd shapes star popping when I see the file at 100%. So in the end when I have a high iso file I end up turning to other RAW processor.

I was wondering if any improvement in NR is comming soon to C1, although I hope it's not delayed till Capture One 7 ☹️

    Do a search, Pablo - Cap One's NR and the demosaicing/sharpening artifacts you refer to as "a lot of odd shapes" popping up, have been much discussed.

    For example: viewtopic.php?t=9559

    I agree with you, though - it's a major failing.
