Do not receive emails notifying of post updates here

I do not receive emails notifying me when a post that I am involved in is updated. I have checked to make sure my proper email is assigned to my profile and that seems to be correct, and I do select the option at the bottom of the post.
I have also checked my spam box and nothing is hitting there.

It would also be a nice feature to have this as a default, not to have to remember to select it each time.
