DNG Corruption
Apologies if this is a double post, but my first post vanished when submitting.
When I export a DNG and open it in Lightroom, the white balance is 9200 and the tint is pegged to the right at 150. It's Green. Since DNG is supposed to be a standard, why is this happening?
I use Sony a580 and a77ii ARWs and it happens for both.

Can't tell you but just for completeness it is probably worth observing that DNG is not a standard. There are variations.

Is the Exported DNG a straight RAW to DNG conversion or have you applied other edits in C1 before processing the Sony file to a DNG file?
If you have performed other edits it will probably be useful to know what your workflow has been.

I believe that C1 exports in DNG v1.1 and only alterations made in Capture One to the metadata and original (As Shot) White Balance will be saved. All other changes made to an image will be discarded when creating the DNG file.
Unfortunately I have also found that with ARW files that the White Balance is wrong on export as per this image:

I haven't worked out whether it is because ACR is looking for data that is missing (e.g. lens correction data) or it is exported incorrectly. Note that I don't have any problems with CR2's exported as DNG.0 -

I exported to DNG without editing.
Well now, I just did another series of tests and the DNGs came out with accurate white balance. Go figure. I don't think I did anything differently, but I must have.0 -
It makes no difference to my images but they are only from the RX100M3 so I guess it may be something to do with the contents of the ARW file as it is a newer RAW format. 0
