When does "Select All" not mean "Select All"?
when the programmers decided they would go against all previous software conventions and make up their own because they felt like it.
1. Select All (Ctrl-A)
2. Process all (Shft-Process)
How many files get processed?
You guessed it. One.
Page 108 in the manual
"If you wish to Process all selected instead of just one, first select the images you wish to process then hold Shift whilst pressing Process or hold Shift whilst choosing File>Process, this menu item will be Process Selected when pressing Shift"
Nope. One file gets processed. The first one. What, exactly, were they thinking???

Best to mention your version of CO 4.x when discussing this. The shift-key modifier was dropped because it did not made sense to a lot of people. Now there is the Edit Primary Only key. The change was implemented in 4.5 or 4.6, not sure about that anymore. 0 -
4,6,3 and i am reading the instructions that came with this version. if they changed the keyboard shortcuts, they didn't change the instructions.
So, am I allowed to know how to actually process these images? when i select all of the images, all of the images in the lower thumbnails are selected but in the upper half with the larger previews only the first image is selected and gets processed
no matter what i do or buttons i push, i cant get them all to process, only the first one.0 -
installed 4.7 with same results
Select all
process
just one file gets processed.0 -

Sorry to repeat myself: is Edit Primary Only selected? This will process only the primary selected, not all selected. Solution: switch it off (toolbar or Edit menu).0 -
it must have gotten ticked accidentally when i was looking for an answer. thanks. 0 -
hi roger
just before reading your post I downloaded 4.7-no problems -not used yet but after reading Paul`s solution I looked in the EDIT BOX and found the EDIT PRIMARY ONLY button to be TICKED so maybe you didn`t accidentally tick it and it was automatically done so as part of the download
