There are many preference settings. I can't find where they are documented anywhere.

Where can I get a complete description of what each preference setting does?

    Go to Phaseone.com click support and select documentation, then click on documentation for capture one.
    Capture One Pro chapter 14, is about preferences
    Capture One LE chapter 12 is about preferences
    Capture One DB chapter 14 is about preferences
