Upgrade Phase one Express to Pro
Hallo,
this is my first post here in the forum.
I've several questions.
1. If I make now the upgrade, does this include special offer for Phase one Pro and Media Pro?
2. I've installed Phase one 6 express on one computer. I had to reinstall the system several times, because I had a hard disk problem, and by this the computer name was changed. So in my account are several different activations.
If I make the upgrade now, I want to install the program on a second computer, which I use for travelling.
Are the old activation canceled and do I've the posibility to install it on a second computer?
With kind regards
Lech

Hi Lech,
Welcome to the forum. Although you can always ask other users here for advise, regarding sales info you best ask Phase One directly. However, I think I can give you some info.
Regarding the CO Pro + Media Pro bundle, ask Phase One for a quote that covers your upgrade situation. As far as I understood the bundle offer applies to new purchases.
Regarding activations, it is easy. Activations are entirely yours to manage. You can delete activations from the website, activate new installations and you are only bound to the activation limit for a specific license key.
When you upgrade from Express to Pro, I expect you're Express key will be disabled and you are provided a new Pro key with zero activations and there you go. With a limit of 2 activations per key, you can have 2 systems ready to go.
If you have more computers, you could consider to buy a full CO Pro license (bundled with Media Pro) and retain your Express key for systems you use less often.
Whatever you do, check with Phase One to be sure. Good luck.0 -
Hallo Paul,
thank's for your fast answer.
It's probably a good idea to keep the express licens because my travel laptop is netbook with a small capacity and to get a full licens for the computer at home.
For the deactivation of the express licens. I can not find , how to delet the wrong ones. If I deactivate, it deactivates the new licens, but not the wrong ones.
Can you give me a tip how to make it.
Best regards

If you deactivate a license key from the web site, it deactivates all activations but not the license. You just will regain all activations. Next, start CO Express you like to keep running and activate it again. 0
