Capture one 4 - Multi core support?

I just get Intel quad core PC machine with Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit. C4 seems to using cores very insufficiently. It uses only 20-25% of each core when developing. With 2 core machine it even does not use another core fully. Is this a aware decision and going to be improved in incoming pro version?

    Different experience here. Both on a Pentium D as on a Core 2 Duo processor machine CO4 uses both cores to a maximum CPU utilization during conversion. Note that between conversion (in a batch) CPU utilization drops because of writing the output to disk.

    CPU utilization has been discussed here regularly. You might want to do a search. IIRC CO4 uses a 4 core machine efficiently re. CPU use. You can also look in the CO4/Mac forum, as Macs come with up to 8 cores, and it has been discussed there too. Both my dual G5 and Core 2 Duo Mac show the same results in CPU use as their Windows cousins when CO4 is running and processing.

    If you still get max 20-25% CPU use during conversion, other causes than CO4 might exist. Good luck.
