Selecting multiple files for processing

I would like to process multiple files but unfortunately I can't seem to find a way to select them. Apparently there should be a way to add them to a batch job so if anybody could explain how to do it I would very much appreciate it.

    Ensure you have the 'Edit Primary Only' function disabled. Select images and hit the process command. (assuming CO 4.5 or later)
