Disable tooltips

Hello,
is it possible to disable the tooltips? They are very helpful at the beginning but if you know C1 they get a bit annoying as the cover up a good portion of the image.

    As far as I know, it can not be switched off. You are not alone in this request. To join forces, log a feature request in a support case with Phase One.

    is there any update on this question? I'm on Capture one Pro 11 and still unable to hde the tooltips, am I missing something, or is it still that annoying?

    We can't disable it within the software, but you can alter the app preference plist so the time before a tooltip appears is exorbitantly high. Open Terminal and run this command:

    defaults write com.phaseone.captureone11 NSInitialToolTipDelay -int 1000

    followed by a return key. You can do this with version 7, I believe (though I haven't tested) with this code:
    defaults write com.phaseone.captureone7 NSInitialToolTipDelay -int 1000
