NO CAPTURE NAMING OPTIONS!

How do you change the suffix in capture naming?
Also how do you change the counter for your captures? I don't really want my captures to read -88888.tif

Some of our clients use an archiving application that hates (-) so uses (_) but there is no option to set your capture name?
This feature was on the previous Capture One Pro. Why get rid of it?

    Apparently your CAPS function is working properly. 😂
    You might be more specific in whether you refer to capture names during tethered operation, importing images from card or for output.
    And please be aware you primarily communicate with fellow-users, not Phase One, on this forum.

    We shoot tethered. 😉

    Remember in 3.7.9, when you could go to prefs, capture naming and you had plenty of choices how to name your shots.

    Where have all those options gone?

    I'm hoping one of my fellow C1 users has discovered where this function is hiding.

    These features are so well hidden that I have not been able to retrieve them from obscurity. If you read between the lines (/small caps on/) they are not there (/small caps off/).

    I hope these functions make an appearance on the next few updates that are due!
    I had a go Batch renaming.
    It doesn't quite work!?
    It will rename all except the image you initially selected.
    Interesting.

    Had to try this out. Selected 3 images, on Output tool choose 'Job Name and Counter', gave Job Name format = JobName-.
    Result are three files: JobName-001, JobName-002, JobName-003.
    How were you able to not let it work correctly?

    Isn't capture naming in the camera tab it works OK for me.

    mark, the options for naming upon import if you are bringing in cards are not the same as the ones in the camera tab. there is a pull down arrow on the right side of the column of the next capture naming box with preferences but clicking this brings up no options. i think phase one just forgot to put these in. understandable since c1pro 4 was released so quickly.

    derek, can you change the - to a _ in this tab?
