camera profile for A900

A user gave a color profile for A900 much much much realistic than the profile in C1 , How can the standard profile for the camera be so bad ? its all red when you compare .

Do they do tests with the camera ?

  Or the camera Phase One did use to make the Capture One profile is different from your camera. Either the profile is not CO4' s best or there are considerable differences between the cameras or their sensors.

  I am sorry but I think it is very dangerous to make absolute statements about color profiles. Personally I think that user profile is far too yellow. The A900 is too magenta, but there are several profiles, especially for phase one backs that are more natural "to my eyes".

  Sorry , I am only referring to A900 , it is much too magenta .
  
  I hope you don't misunderstand me , I love C1 and its the one I use always , With M8 its fine for me , but with the A900 not so much , once i solved with the profile its ok .
  
  but perhaps a new profile could be better .

  I mist correct my self .
  
  Someone explained to me how profiles are done , so I should of said :
  
  perhasps there could be more camera profiles for the a900 for diferent lighting conditions as with other cameras .
  
  Excuse mi ignorance , but every day you learn something .

  Hi Paul , ARW . Wat I find , is that generic profile is much more magenta than on other converters . Talking of skin tone .

  James, as a workaround you could, if you have CO4 Pro, use Color Editor to create an adapted profile. If you do not have Pro, you could use the trial mode and get it done within the 30 days period.
