Previews (thumbnails) are not showing when importing pics

I imported 4000+ pictures into capture one pro and for some reason all the thumbnails below are missing, any idea how to fix this issue? please see screenshot below

  What size are the jpgs?

  Raw files approx 24 mb and jpgs aprox 4mb

  Sorry for stupid questions but did you tried to close catalog and open it again, because may be C1 was at that stage generating previews.
  
  For me it occasionally happened in old version of C1, but closing and opening again catalog always solved my issue.
