How long of a cable are you using?
Have you tried a powered hub?
Are you running other USB devices at the same time?0 -
The cable are 3m, i have not tried a usb-hub and there is no other usb-device running at the same time.
I have tried this http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4049
IQ160: (this is the info from usb'n when P1án is plugged in to the computer, it looks like the P1 require 124 (mA) and the usb delivers 900 (mA), this is really strange 😲( )
Product ID: 0x0003
Vendor ID: 0x22db (Phase One A/S)
Version: 1.00
Speed: Up to 5 Gb/sec
Manufacturer: Phase One
Location ID: 0x15100000 / 3
Current Available (mA): 900
Current Required (mA): 1240 -
Now i have tried with a 3.0 USB hub, here is the error from C1 (Db 7.2 Build 57) eventhandeler.
When i connect the thunderbolt to firewire adapter it works fine, but the usb don't 😲(
(Description: Exception: Unspecified error.. (1#3758097131) Mac OS kernel error: (iokit/common) operation aborted [# 0xe00002eb] - USB error.

Some one any ideá?0 -
are you powering the back through the system bus or by battery?
I would repeat the tests you have done running off of the back's battery if possible.
Have you tried a clean install of Capture One?0 -
I´m powering the back with battery, fully charged.
I just tested with a clean install but no changes0 -
Do you have a CF card in the back?
Is there a new firmware that corresponds to use of the IQ160 in C1Pro 7.2?
Does this machine connect and run the back reliably in C1Pro 7.1.6?
If you go into "about this mac", is the computer seeing the back as USB 2 or USB 3? If USB 2, restart the back and see if it connects as USB 3.0 -
Please turn off the Charging Feature when tethered over your systems USB.
It looks like your system doesn't like the power demand.0
