How do I reconnect old sessions?
Greetings! In spite of years working with C1, I admit to being less than brilliant about how to manage its various file storing processes. Yes, I'm lazy and have no one but myself to blame. So, here I am, asking for your patience and advice.
After successfully installing v.8, I immediately realized that it wasn't automatically finding and listing all of the previous sessions I'd been used to seeing in the viewer window left column. It did manage to find and assemble the last catalog I'd made, but that was over a year ago when I determined that the catalog function was not for me. Since then, each import has been a separate session.
My question is how do I go about accessing those old sessions? When I use file "Open Session" and browse to the various "Capture One" folders sprinkled around my collection of hard drives, there doesn't seem to be anything that will "open". What file types or names should I be looking for to get them back? Is it necessary to completely re-import the RAWs?
As much as I love C1, this file handling thing makes me feel stupid. I think I need an intervention.
Thanks for your help!

Files to look for are the session (database) files. These are the files to open.
In CO7 and 8 the session file has the extension .cosessiondb
In CO5 and 6 the session file has the extension .col50
In CO4 the session file has the extension .col or .col45
Older session files can not be opened in CO8.0 -
Thanks! I'll give that a try. 0
