Capture Pilot start server crashes CO6
Hi there on my Windows 7 64 bit, everything is fine until I use Capture Pilot and start server. It immediately crashes CO6 and generates an error report.
I have the latest versions of iTunes, Bonjour and Apple Moble services installed.
The machine is AMD Phenom II hex core on a Gigabyte MOBO and 16G RAM installed.
Anyone else seeing this issue? Any solutions?
Otherwise CO6 is a GREAT tool, CONGRATS to P1 software team!

Create a support case and send us the Crash Report directly. I haven't had any issue on my system but details are necessary to understand the nature of the problem. 0 -
Hello Drew: I did submit the crash report and just created a case number 82052. Looking over the crash file, it seems that the only significant info is
<exception type="System.UnauthorizedAccessException">
<message>Access to the path '~DF5476F46E331525F0.TMP' is denied.</message>
<stacktrace>
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
I have an SSD boot drive C, only W7 and an absolute minimum of non system stuff on it, most programs, TEMP and scratch files areon hard disk D or others drives, that may be a clew.
Many thanks,

Hello again I just tried it on my Win XP workstation: It does not crash and Capture Pilot works fine (as long as Bonjour service is enabled and started!)
Best,

Hello again:
The W7 Cap one shortcut needs to have "Run as administrator" enabled and under properties advanced, same, "Run as administrator". Apparantly the default permissions do not allow writing the required TEMP files to the C drive folders!
With that change, it works fine.
Another note: No problem to have several workstations running C1 6 and Capture Pilot as long as the server names are different.
Kind Regards,
Jon0
