"Hung" Processing

After installing 4.5.1 Pro Trial, processing hangs, and will not finish, or really even progress very much. The progress bar might indicate 2 seconds for several minutes, then progress to 4 seconds for another 10 minutes, etc. An uninstall and deletion of obvious directories then a reinstall doesn't delete the hung processing, which resumes in its hung state upon reinstall.

Version 4.1 didn't have this problem, although I believe that 4.5.0 did. (C1 is not my primary converter.)

WIN XP, enough memory & HD space.

Any suggestions, please.

    Close program, clean up any unfinished processing file in your Output folder, move the Capture One*.col files and try again.
    Other options: start with 1 image to process, not a batch, an process to an internal disk, for example directly in your Pictures folder (not using a long path name). Choose different output format (TIFF if your were using JPEG), other output profile (sRGB, AdobeRGB), default size (100%). Just vary some settings, do one step at a time.
