upgrading from Express 7 to v8 pro

I'm using Express 7 at the moment and understand that I can make use of the UK v8 Pro upgrade deal being offered at the moment. I won't be ready to do this until early October. 2 questions: 1. when does the deal end? 2. my CPU is an AMD 6300 black six core 3.5 ghz with room to overclock if necessary. Will that be OK for running 8 Pro? Any help on this will be gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance....Keith

  I do not think other users do know how long the discount pricing for Express to CO Pro 8 will last. At least I do not.
  What might help is that if you are able to upgrade your license now, you can still use CO Pro 7 with the new key until you are ready to do the upgrade, if that is your concern.
  
  Your system seems capable of running CO Pro 8, although I do remind of an AMD processor issue, not sure (something like that CO 8 loves Intel proc more as it uses proc instructions only Intel has for better performance). You could ask support if necessary.
  
  Last, you can install and run CO Pro 8 now on a 60-day trial.
