A questions and requests from a digital assistant

Hi
First of all i must say , i have been using C1 pro for 4 years now as a digital assistant and i´m really glad that this programme exist ! i have a few questions and requests for you guys !

i´ve been shooting with the p25+ tetherd to a macbook pro on C1 / 5.0.2 .
Everything goes well for the first 500 shots but after a while the sofware gets reallly slow and i can´t see the pictures coming into the computer .( clients get super nervous when that happen ....!) I have to restart the computer then it works fine again . how can i fixe that ?

It would be cool if C1 could add a preference where the capture counter would reset automaticaly as you select a new capture folder like in the older versions of C1 .

i really like the import window that opens when you shoot on card . Could it be possible to disactivate the preview selection because it means you have to wait two times for it to import ...

I work for a big Danish add Agency called Recommended , I know you guys work with them . We have a problem with our workflow using C1 . The art director wants to edit the pictures we shoot for them in jpeg but the digital department wants me to shoot in EIP . Quickproof is way to small for them and high jpeg takes me too long to process on location . The best for us would be a better quality Quickproof or a setting that doesn´t take to long to process and where you can check the focus on the eyes .
On the last shoot we did ( 10 days shoot ) it took the DXP 3 weeks to process everything !!!

  Carl,
  The best place to go over this with us is in a support case.
  -You can give us specifics of the MacBook and we can recommend a few things to keep the speed up. However my guess is folder size. 500 images is a lot for C1 to browse at the same time (around 10GB).
  -The suggestion for the counter is a good one and with a case logged we can pass that information onto R&D.
  -The import feature is primarily designed to generate the previews on import.
  -Create your own JPEG Recipe but edit the Scale to a specific Pixel size that is big enough to meet the AD's needs but quick enough to accommodate your hardware.

  I would love to be able to have a lot more settings in the preferences. For example, so that I could have the capture naming so it is always set to "name and 3 digit counter," every time I create a new session, it defaults back and I have to change it. Or if there's a way to have it save all of my settings in the tabs so I don't have to go through and change everything from the defaults every time I create a new session. Having to go through this for every session at 18 sessions a day is very inconvenient for me, I would think it wouldn't be too difficult of a fix and would make my life 10 times easier.

  If you like to save a typical set of adjustments, create a Style. If you mean to save the way you have your tabs and tool ordered, create a Workspace.

  If you're looking to provide specific feature requests do so through a support case. If I read your suggestion correct you're looking for the ability to set defaults for every tab and every tool. Although no one would argue that is a bad idea, the practicality of implementing something like that might be a bit much. A proper logged case will let us know.
