Images in user collection but not in library folder
is there some way to batch locate MULTIPLE selected images in a USER COLLECTION? (the only current way seems to be one image at a time OR multiple images via right clicking on a Library Folder)
Last summer I re-"LOCATED"ed some library folder from one drive to another while upgrading from a 4Gb to 6Gb drive ... somewhere in the process the locate process failed to show the actual images in the new folder and I failed to notice this. While this appears to be some kind of bug which I just reported, my bad for not noticing along with deleting older catalog backups which would have allowed me to do the locate command again. (my workaround for this is to close the capture one after each locate of these large folder (10K images each) and a backup each time)
My MAIN question though is simply wondering if there is a way to somehow relocate multiple images instead of ONE AT A TIME since now I can't relocate them in batch since they don't appear in a library folder?

Somehow even though I do regular backups including the optimize and verify options, the fact that images show up in collections, but NOT in any library folder in the Catalog is not reported. Normally it should not be possible to have and image that is in the catalog yet NOT in some library folder even though it may be offline? I believe this is true.

any way to solve this? I am having the exact problem right now with 3000 pictures unable to automatically being relocated. it is pain. no answer from capture one support either 0 -
My workaround for this is to do the following steps when using relocate since there is apparently some kind of database bug where the relocate somehow isn't actually updating to the new location, ie, the base directory is moved to the new drive, but shows ZERO images in it (but not until it's too late).
1) do the relocate
2) when complete, go to the new location and verify that everything moved properly.
3) do a catalog back
4) exit capture one
5) start capture one up again and verify the images have successfully relocated
When I do those steps, everything seems to work, but if instead I do another relocate after the first, etc, the relocate appears to have worked but later shows up with zero images.
I reported this as a possible, but never received a reply from support, so maybe I'm simply overlooking something obvious. IDK ...0
