Upgrade 5 to 5 pro and free upgrades

With the 40% off deal ending today (I just found out!) I am considering upgrading from 5 to 5 pro.

Will I still have the 4 remaining free upgrades to upgrade to future Pro releases? That is my most important consideration.

What are others thoughts on compelling reasons to upgrade? I am most interested in styles, dust spot removal & lens correction. I have just downloaded the manual to compare features (vs. the bulletized feature compare)

Obviously I need to decide before the end of today Nov.2

    I do not understand the 4 free remaining upgrades. You aren't confusing it with free activations?

    All Keys that currently exist, if they include "Free Upgrades", they are limited to Capture One 5. Upgrades can not be saved for later use, they are either used or lost. So if you have a Capture One 3 Key with 2 Free Upgrades and you were hoping to save them for later use, you are out of luck. That key will only allow activation to Capture One 4 and then 5... nothing beyond 5.

    If I purchase an upgrade to PRO do I loose my remaining 3 free upgrades? (4 was a mistype)

    Alex,
    Create a support case and give us your Product Key, we can let you know exactly what your key is/was good for. But again, as there are no free upgrades on any Key beyond Capture One 5... if you went from 5 to 5 PRO you would not have lost anything as you are already at the limit.

    OK. I am certain I have free upgrades thru v8, this has been confirmed twice already through support cases. All I want to know is if I upgrade from standard to PRO if I will still have those 3 free upgrades thru v8 PRO. (Obviously if I do not have 'three remaining & never missed free upgrades', I wouldn't.)

    Unless your Key is "special" you do not have upgrades through to Capture One V.8. Create a case to clarify rather than speculating on the forum.
