CANON EOS 5D

hi.

i have to use a Canon EOS 5D for the first time this evening, tethered.

first question, is it tethered via USB?

and second question will i be able to use it with Capture One DB?

any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

    ok, i just found out that i have to 'back date' my usb driver.

    can anyone explain in simple terms how i do this and, will i still be able to use my Wacom Intuos 3 graphics tablet with this diver.
    i read on the forum that someone was having problems with this.

    hi keith.

    i am already running C1 Pro v. 3.4.7 on a MacBookPro v. 10.4.6.
    does this mean i should just be able to just plug in the camera and shoot?

    i've tried hooking it up and i keep getting a connection failure notice.

    have you set the 'communication' menu on the 5D to pc connect? i think the default is Print/ptp?

    Hurricane,

    On the macBook Pro, you will need the Mac OS update to 10.4.7 which fixes the USB issues (and break USB on other Macs!). As Gary said, you will also need to change Communication to PC, not Print in the camera menu.
