Processing already processed images

Hi,
I have processed some images and few days later I found out I need all of them in Jpeg quality. So I tried to process them again but the "processing" icon didn't lighten up, so I couldn't use it.
Could you please help me with this?

    TIFF, so that's your problem. Basically, you've to understand the C1 workflow. ie. you don't process what you've already processed.

    The workflow goes like this. C1 process your RAW files to whichever format/formats and pop 'em in their respective directories for further actions. You can have TIFF files all in one folder and Jpeg files all in another folders. You cannot process these files again with C1.

    There are 2 options for you:

    1) Use C1 to process your RAW file to the Jpeg that you required, or
    2) Use Photoshop to (automation) process your TIFF file to Jpeg that you required.

    i see now. i had to do it in photoshop because it would take far longer to color process all the images again in C1.

    Doesn't seem to make sense. I process my raw files into tiff. Then print using Qimage. After examining, either on screen or on paper, and learning more about what i should be doing to get the best quality i can achieve, i want to reprocess into tiff.
    Are you then saying that that is not possible on the mac version?
    I am able to do it on my PC. CS1 then saves my tiff file again with an "-1" in the name.
    Can you explain further please?
    I am having some basic problems with my workflow when changing from PC to Mac. But that is for another thread.

    Paul,

    You will be able to resave/convert your file to any format using Photoshop thereafter... But you cannot "re-process" the Tiff file using C1.

    C1 is Capture One, CS is Photoshop Creative Suite. Let's not confuse ourselves here.

    The version we have for Capture One Pro is a RAW converter only. And a very good one IMO.

    OOPS! By "CS1" I meant Capture1.
    So, you are saying I cannot process twice into tiff?
    What happens if I want to process for the highlights and then process for the shadows to combine these two in Photoshop?
    BTW MUCH prefer the workflow of the PC version. maybe that's what I have become use-to. I REALLY struggle without the Explorer view of the directories and being able to select any directory containing the raw files. I REALLY like being able to EASILY save the processed files into an attached/associated "Developed" directory.
    Any comments or suggestions or help?

    Assuming I understand what your're trying to do... then process 2 tiff files and HDR merge in Photoshop, my 2 cent.

    May be it's just me! I've been a PC user all my life (still is). But I bought my Mac Book 3 or 4 months ago and love it ever since. I'd the same concern that you're having, but once you know the "workflow" of Mac, the "workflow" of C1 in Mac; you'll never go back to PC.

    IMHO, if you have multiple shooting sessions per week, Mac workflow is better. Eg. you don't have to "configure" the develop (destination) directory for each session; and many "Plus" points. In short, everything has it's own place in the Mac version of C1.

    You can process your RAW file as many times, and in any configuration as you want. If you are making two TIFFs at the same time, one light and another dark for an extended range photo made in Photoshop, the first one will have the name xx-xxxx-xx.tif. The next TIFF from the same RAW file will then have the name xx-xxxx-xx-1.tif, so on and so forth. You can also change the final file names to output as xx-xxxx-xx-light.tif, and xx-xxxx-xx-dark.tif as well.
