Capture One wont restart

Ok...so I just downloaded the new Capture One 6 and I'm as user of Capture One 5. When I choose to try Capture One 6 Pro it says it will need to relaunch but it never does. I tried a duzen times now.

Any ideas?

    Two quick ideas for a solution;

    Delete the Plist, step #5 of the following and then launch;

    If it's the same...

    Rename the Program from "Capture One" to "Capture One 6", then launch.

    I followed this thread with interest, since I was in the process of downloading and installing on one of the two computers that would be upgraded. As a habit before doing the actual install, I always shut down the program that will upgraded. Well, no issues on computer 1, and am downloading and installing on computer 2 at the moment.

    Thanks for the info, I was looking for this issue, but it never materialized. 😊

    Capture One 6 is a different software than Capture One 5. They share some files, but they are two separate piece. Although I applaud your safety it should not be necessary.
