Skin Tone Tool, Confused

Regarding the Skin Tone Tool.
Ok, I have read the help and played around with it, but I do not get how to use this adjustment tool.
It seems like something I would like to use as I shoot people allot .
Can anyone give some advice and hints on using this tool.

  Tip: Do a search for 'skin tone' in the CO4/Mac forum. I has been discussed there recently.
