Colour changed after importing a session from my old mac
Ello,
Just got a new macbook pro using leopard, and using 3.7.8 capture one pro.
Dragged an entire shoot over via a lacie hard drive , from a mac book pro using tiger, when i imported the shoot into the new laptop and opened it in capture one all the images started changing colour infront of me, any image i didn'topen stayed in its original state, but anyone i did open made skin tones look dead ?
can anyone help is this perminant? its not just the colour balance or warmth thats changed the entire image looks totally different.
thanks ,a concerned user? ❓

Hello,
Capture One will create new previews based upon your Monitor profile and your proof profile (your proof profile is generally your output profile be default). My guess here is that you have a bad monitor profile on the new system.0 -
thanks for the advice , however i have just calibrated my monitor and the effect is still happening the thumb nails are as the image was on the old mac and as soon as i click on them they change colour ?
thanks

I'm having the same problem on my MacPro Leopard. I'm shooting with a Canon 5D tethered to C1 Pro 3.7.8 and when the images show up, the correct color shows up but suddenly becomes desaturated. To compensate for the loss of color I've been setting the saturation to +27 just to reach a natural skin tone. Eventually the saturation at 27 reverted back to a desaturated tone again, so I set the saturation at 47 to reach that natural skin tone. Unfortunately that setting, even when saved as an exposure and loaded before each session, eventually reverts back to 0 saturation at random. I have to keep reloading the exposure. Hopefully the pattern doesnt continue where I'll have to set it to 100 saturation. How do I fix this?! 0 -
I also calibrated my monitor and checked out the profile first aid on C1. It detects a bad profile but cannot repair it:
"Tag 'desc': Tag size is not correct. Could not be fixed."
What does this mean and how can i fix it?0
