    Mike,
    Where are the files?
    -Quit the software
-Delete the "Cache" folder inside the "CaptureOne" folder with your RAW data.
-Move the Folder of RAW files to your User/Picture folder
-Launch Capture One and access the folder.

If there is no change, please create a support case.

    Hi Drew,
Really appreciate your swift reply- many thanks.
The files are in my "capture one" folder within my pictures folder.

BUT since writing the post, I've re-started the machine (again) after deleting caches and re-installing and
it now appears to be working?... However I've had this problem on and off for several weeks
(since updating to 6.4.2) so I will keep you posted if it goes again.

    Many thanks again,
    Mike.

I spoke too soon, It's back to not rendering any previews.
Not just in current session but in all sessions.

I will try deleting the 'cache' folder in the 'captureOne' folder
    like you said...

Also- when not rendering, it means having to force quit C1 every time.

How do I create a support case?

Running 6.4.3 with 10.6.8 on Early 2011 Macbook Pro 15". Same issues as the OP. C1 is crashing while tethered to 5D Mark II repeatedly. When selecting an image in the browser to inspect, C1 hangs up. Can't even Quit, must use Force Quit. This only just started occurring after I updated from 6.2.2 (skipped everything in between).

I stumbled across a solution that worked for me and thought I'd move it over here. Following another users advice, I changed "use OpenCL" to Never (in preferences) and magically everything seems to be working again. Turn it back to auto and like a switch, the crashes begin again.

We'd be happy to get a Support Case from you with a System Information file so we can know more about your hardware and why the OpenCL drivers are having this issue.

    Yes, Thanks Gregory.
Switching off Open CL sorted my issue out too.
    Regards,
    Mike.
