support for Leica M Monochrom DNG files?

Does anyone know if an update for Capture One is in the work so that DNG files from Leica M Monochrom can be converted?

    I strongly encourage you to post a feature request in a support case. This extraordinary camera needs Capture One support! 😂

    Hi,

    I already took pictures with the Leica M monochrom (one day and one night), it's a great camera for sure and deserve Capture one, I agree !
    So I hopes to keep straightforward my workflow with Capture one 😕 , such as with my M9 (and others camera and backs).

    So after I ran few tests, I can say even the version 3 of Lightroom does support the the DNG files from the Leica Mm (and of course the version 4 too), but the files are not supported by the last version of Capture one V6.4.3 !
    I logged a support case, one month and half ago, the only answer I got was : "we can't say nothing', nor 'if' or 'when' or whatever 🙄
    So I asked to the support what does that mean ? I though as many software company they have a product road Map ?! , and I explained my issue and fact I'll get a Mm soon...

    The answer was: they just closed the support case !

    So Paul_E (sorry to ask 🤭 for) but can you explain to the web community what is the point to Log a support case ?

    Strange way to take care of the Phase one customers ! 🤬 and to have a customer loyalty strategies!

    Hi Nicolas17,

    Don't worry about the support case. As soon as your request is forwarded - and I am sure it is - the case can be closed as no further activity from the support department is involved. It is now up to R&D to pick it up. Since the M8 and M9 are supported, I have good hopes the Monochrom M will be supported. Note that the support department can not give assurances nor estimates.

    If you have a image file to share, I might be able to contact Phase One on the fact the it is not recognized as a regular DNG (apart from specific support as discussed).

    Thanks for you're imput 😉

    I agree, and I'm aware regarding what Customer support can say or not regarding new release.
    According my previous contacts and inquiries ( I found for example a bug in the lens radial sharpening for the M9 and made a support case on it) I though Phase one support was friendly and really reactive (I have provided too some files to help them).

    Regarding my last support case was really a different story, and I have already made the proposal to upload some Mm files if that can help to go ahead, but it's look like they doesn't care because they ignored my proposal in their answer so ... 🙄

    Fact is there's a difference between what you answer in this thread for ex. or to say we'll take care and we'll transfer your request to R&D dept. and just to say nothing and to close the Log !

    Anyway I hope you're right, and I hope too the Leica Mm files will be supported soon in Cone 😜 (not in 3 months !)

    For what it's worth, I opened a support case requesting to see Capture One process DNG files from the Monochrom. It hasn't been closed yet. It's still listed as "in progress." Not sure how it's actually progressing though.
