crazy behaviour :-)

This is crazy. When I start Media Pro it starts up but at the same time creates a virtual folder on the desktop containing the latest version of Capture One! I can eject that virtual folder as many times as I like each time I start Media Pro it gets re-created. What is going on???

    Where is MP installed?

    Hi Jim,

    MacOSX 10.6.8
    MP is installed in the applications folder and the dmg file which creates the virtual folder is located in a folder on my desktop together with various other software installers.

    I suppose if you are using the Phase One Render Engine, Media Pro is looking for Capture One software.
    If it finds the DMG it may try to open it, which would simply mount the Virtual Drive.
    It is strange but I suppose the issue could be avoided by installing Capture One software in the Applications folder.
