Preview Generating Speed on the new Mac Pro
Hi all,
Last week I was on a very busy shoot with 4000+ images imported from CF cards & adjusted / processed in one day. While my new 6 Core Mac Pro / 32GB RAM / D500's was running very quickly (on C1 8.0.1), I found that the slowest part was waiting for previews to generate after each import (and thus not being able to quickly process QuickProof jpegs).
Checking Activity Monitor I found that preview generation was only using 130% - 160% max which is barely over 1 core. It seems like a lot more processing power could be dedicated for this.
Are there any plans making C1 more efficient on multi core machines?
Thanks
