Moving images
Hi all,
I need some advice regarding putting images in the order I want to export them. As you would expect when I import the images from a memory card they are uploaded in the order the photos were taken, but I want to move the images around into a particular order, but all I can find is options to either order all the images by date, time, rating etc. All I want is to manually move each image.
Thanks, Patrick

Manually ordering your thumbnails once imported in CO5 is not a feature that is available. In the just released CO6 I did not find that feature as well, but it is fresh so I might be missing something. 0 -
Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply, I thought that might be the case. I'm trying to put the images in a particular order for burning onto a CD, have you any suggestion how I might achieve this?
Thanks, Patrick0 -
Hi Patrick, in the case of your CD, I assume you like to present the images in a particular order. If that is the case I would suggest to look for a slide show package. On Mac, I use iPhoto for this and export to a QuickTime movie. It is a bit basic so you might look around for other options. 0 -

Have you tried Expression Media ?
You can sort files manually, but I've not tested if the sorting keep going when the slideshow runs…
Just an idea…0 -

Ok I know this post is super old but did this ever become available in any of C06 updates? I need to be able to move preview images around manually in my workflow and then batch rename them in the order I want.0 -

As of today, with CO 6.4.3 current, the status has not changed regarding this topic.0
