stall on image selection

I've just updated to 3.7.8 and find that the program is fine until I select an image to preview, at which point the program stalls and I must force quit. I am fully able to make new folders, import images, view thumbnails but cannot select an image to preview. A problem like this has not occured in the past (3.7.5 and 3.7.7 worked well). I have uninstalled as per Phase One guidelines and re-installed 3.7.8. I am working on an older machine (powerbook g4, tiger 10.4.11) but as I said it was working perfectly before I updated the software. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

Hi-
I am wondering if you have corrupted image in the session you loaded?
Also have the RAW images been touched in another image software or is something else opened ?

After the new install try bring only new captures and see if you still have the problem. If you still have a problem: create a support case, give us specs on your system and a RAW file.
