Suggestion to enhance crop function
Suggestion to Capture One programmers:
When rotating an image a few degrees, you usually also need to move the crop area a little (at least I do it practically every time...). BUT, there is a snag; when you try to move the cropped area, you have to first make it a bit smaller, in order to be able to move it. The two corners touching the "outer space" (ie the image boundaries), do not allow the cropped area to be moved unless you can move it precicely inside the image area. At least I am experiencing this with Canon 1Ds mIII images.
Besides: when rotating and cropping a tightly framed photo, you can run out of space: you are cutting out something important in the middle of the frame edge, but you have a "cloneable" area in the corner, which you could clone out in photoshop.
Now the suggestion:
Make it possible to move the cropped area also to the "outer space".
Benefit: you can make the image as ready as possible in C1 and need only minimum work in photoshop (cloning and retouching the corners) => this saves many steps in the workflow...
