Aperture handles this easily. Am I missing something?

Given that Aperture was Apple developed software I suspect they would have been too embarrassed to have considered omitting that sort of integration.

For others it may not be such a significant development requirement. Indeed, as you point out, it's not something you use all of the time and I suspect those who do probably don't usually look to a third party RAW conversion program as a first port of call for easy imports.

My Android phone supports DNG "RAW" files and when I wish to import them (rarely) I just copy them to my laptop and work with them from there. C1 is happy with that.

Capture One is a raw workflow solution.

As soon as an iPhone can produce a raw file I suspect Phase One's interest in supporting it will expand.

Until then import your JPGs to a folder via whatever program and then point C1 to that folder.

    Hello,
I usually use AirDrop to transfer the images direct from iPhone to my MacBook. Works very fast and you can select/transfer a complete album or moment at once.
Next I start up Capture One and import/process these images.
    Regards,
    Michel
