iPhone import
Is there any way to import images from an iPhone or iPad? The only way I've found is to export the images from the iPhone or iPad onto the computer and then import them. I don't use my iDevices that much, but sometimes they are at hand and the camera is not. Aperture handles this easily. Am I missing something?

Given that Aperture was Apple developed software I suspect they would have been too embarrassed to have considered omitting that sort of integration.
For others it may not be such a significant development requirement. Indeed, as you point out, it's not something you use all of the time and I suspect those who do probably don't usually look to a third party RAW conversion program as a first port of call for easy imports.
My Android phone supports DNG "RAW" files and when I wish to import them (rarely) I just copy them to my laptop and work with them from there. C1 is happy with that.

Capture One is a raw workflow solution.
As soon as an iPhone can produce a raw file I suspect Phase One's interest in supporting it will expand.
Until then import your JPGs to a folder via whatever program and then point C1 to that folder.-1 -
Hello,
I usually use AirDrop to transfer the images direct from iPhone to my MacBook. Works very fast and you can select/transfer a complete album or moment at once.
Next I start up Capture One and import/process these images.
