Generate thumbs for all images

Good evening,
Is it possible to make CO generate thumbnails for all images in the library?
I can see a menu item to generate Previews but not Thumbnails.

  Question: why would you like to regenerated the thumbnails for? Your benefit is..?

  Hmm, not sure I understand. CO8 creates previews and thumbnails directly on first opening (session) or import (session/catalog).

  I would like to force the generation to speed up the first load process. I hate waiting - what I have to do when they are created upon me viweing an image for the first time.

  Chicken and egg discussion here? 😉
  Capture One can only generate previews and thumbnails after first opening. But I can give you a tip. Perhaps it gives you a better user experience.
  
  In the Import Images dialog, left corner below, set Import Collection > Never Open Import Collection. This speeds up the import plus generation process.
