Renaming Folders generates 2 Folders
Received an advertising email this morning, which makes me laugh. A a guy named Todd Anthony says" The fact that Capture One pro 7 works without problems means you do not have to worry to move from another raw converter".
Dear Todd!!!
I am using Capture One pro 7 for years on several win laptops and I got used now to several problems not resolved by the program deverlopers!
Using an acer ASPIRE 5755G, Win 7, NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 630M 2GB, i7 2670QM CPU, 18GB RAM, 1TB HD, no extertnal HD:
Why does Capture One pro 7.1.6 after renaming creates 2 folders, one with the new name and pictures and one with the old name without photos?
Kind Regards
Arthur

This too sounds like you have access issues to the folders.
Are they on a NAS?0 -
Hallo Drew!
Thanks for your message.
But as I mentioned in my post, I do not use an external HD.
I also do not use a NAS.
I just installed a SSD 250GB and installed Capture One 7.2 and the raw files also on the SSD.
The renaming problem did not appear again.
Kind Regards

What you've described still sounds permissions related.
I'd suggest you create a support case and get us some more details.0
