    What file type are you saving it as and where
    Note Save as JPG or Tiff in the same folder that should work

    Ok, how are you doing the round trip.

    Should use the Menu item: File->Edit With...

    Then a dialog should pop down from the top of the window, giving you the following options.

    Format : <I always use TIFF @ 16bit>
    Options : <Uncompressed>
    ICC Profile : <sRGB>
    Resolution : <300> <px/in>
    Scale : <Fixed>
    <100%>
    Open With: <Adobe Photoshop CC 2014>

    Then, click on the "Edit Variant", button.

    You should see, a new Image, in the film strip, and the image open in Photoshop.
    Do your adjusting and such in Photoshop, and at the end make sure the image is flattened, then save.
    If you switch back to CO8, you should see the preview update.

    Now, I use referenced files, so the image is placed in the same location as the referenced file, for managed files, I would expect the image to in side the catalog.

    Note: This works differently then if you do a "Open with" in the process Recipes tab, when done with process recipes the file is not added back to CO8, you must do it manually.

    Thanks Robert
    I had failed to hit save after editing. That did the trick. Thanks for responding.
