CO Updates only with clean uninstall

Hi,

in the past I´ve got some problems with CO because I installed the newest version on my system without "clean"uninstalling the previous version.

Today my machine told me that the update 6.3.2 is available. But, should I run the installation in the normal way or is at first the clean uninstallation of my vers. 6.3 required?

  I did my last install of 6.3.2 the "normal way" - that is, without uninstalling the previous version. It worked just fine.
  On the other hand, I have always done it this way with no problems (except when I went back to a previous version once I did an uninstall).

  I prefer, and advice, to uninstall a previous version from Control Panel or Start menu folder, before installing the next version. In addition you might want to clean up some settings files, but that is optional in my view.
