No. I can't reproduce that crash. I can double right click on an image in the browser or the viewer and get no crash.

    Mac OS X 10.8.2
    Mac Pro

    Thanks for you input Bob!

Anybody with Mac Book Pro Retina? C1 7.1 and OSX 10.8.2? As I can reproduce this on 5 MBPR's 2.3 and 2.6 Ghz Machines.

And I am using a Catalog not Sessions.

Not sure why you are using the "right click" as a double click, as the right click on any mouse is a single operation.
We have Retina systems here and there's no problem. Perhaps if you could give us some more details?
What tool do you have selected? Are you clicking on the Viewer or Browser? Are you sure you are using Right Click and not the standard Click, as a double click with the standard mouse button will be a typical "double click" command as defined by the tool.
