Keyword case sensitivity and Merging Keywords

    I had this issue.
I called up one of them (the one I would toss), selected all photos, then added the other key word (version to keep).
Then I removed the 1st key word from all the photos, and deleted the 1st key word.

It's possible to do this via a script. However...

As with most posters on this forum you don't state which operating system you are on. The solutions for Windows users will be different from those on a Mac. As a Windows user I have a script that capitalises keywords but this won't work on a Mac!

You then need to decide whether you want your keywords in lower, Mixed or UPPER case. All of these are possible but the solution is slightly different each time. It is much easier if you select lower or UPPER case! If you want Mixed case then you need to decide what to do when a keyword is actually made up of multiple words i.e. whether this is for the "First word" only or "Each Word".

Have a think and then post your actual requirements and if you're on Windows I might be able to help, although it will be at least 48 hours before I can post anything more.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like this is a quirk I'll have to deal with. I have been fixing the problem like @Jim MSP mentioned but I was hoping there was a way to ignore case. It just seems to me that needing the same keyword with different case is such an outlying scenario that Media Pro would ignore case by default.
