batch apply variants

Now 5.1 will not batch apply changes made to the first image. I select the copy adjustments arrow, then I select the apply adjustments arrow and nothing happens. What is going on.

  Check the status of "Edit All Selected Variants" in the Edit menu of on the toolbar.
