8.2.2 5diii and tether
Hey All,
I had a very frustrating shoot with 8.2.2 tethering a 5diii onto a new MacbookPro running Yosemite. I was shooting jpegs.
No matter what I tried the most recent image would not be auto selected. I'd have to press the up arrow key or click the most recent image in the filmstrip. The software felt laggy and unresponsive.
My client was very angry and it was not a fun day. Anyone else have the same issue?
Thanks!

Hello!
In all likelihood, you've disabled the "auto select next capture" option.
Make sure it's set to "immediately" or "when ready".

Love the shoot name there Brian, must admit I wouldn't like to see the images 😉
But yes as above ^^ Most likely the cause of the issue! C1 8 has been the most stable release straight from the start in my opinion. I'm still running it on 10.9.5 without any major issues.0 -
No, that was the first thing I checked.
The option for "When Ready" or "Immediately" gave almost the same result.
When Ready - Never selected the new image.
Immediately - showed a blurry image then the preview disappeared.
Either option you had to manually click on the thumbnail or tap the arrows to select the newest image.0
