    kng,

When you install update, the Uninstaller updates as well.
If you Zap / Unintstall 3.7.6 you remove Capture ONe alltogether.
You Do Not have two complete and independent versions installed.
Most files and folders of the programs are updated if necessary and reused.

Should you try to Uninstall 3.7.6 you'll likely get a message like - " program may/may not exist, unintstall any way"?

Best way to relieve some space is to the in Preview Cache.
Info on space used is displayed at the Preferences.
= Any Session that is completed can be removed from Capture One (tab removed only, folders/files remain)
File > Preferences > Preview Cache > button Clean up the Preview Cache now...
= A message display explains that it will remove the Preview files (.C1p) from the cache that are no longer associated with a Session.
Should you need to reload a Session, New Preview files will build.

    Cheers,

Seeing 3.7.6 on windows add/remove is not because it is actually still installed and using the reported space. It is because the Phase One update/install method is sloppy and leaves reminants of older versions in the registries.

Either you can ignore it, which doesn't use any extra HD space nor cause any performance issues, or with greater risk you can use a registry cleaner which will remove the old data. The later is risky and can mess up operation of the current version and potentially other software. That said I did this with no problem.

    K C and Al,

    Thanks for the clarity.
(I think I'll leave it - as is)

    Take Care,
