    In Capture One as soon as any channel reaches 255, or what ever value you have set in preferences, the clipping warning is displayed. I'm just guessing here but I suspect Lightroom uses more of an average between the channels for displaying the clipping warning, or LR is compressing the channels more than Capture One before they clip. Its hard to compare because LR uses the 0-100% scale and CO uses 0-255.
