Is there any way of changing this default behaviour or being able to automatically add a "style" over the auto adjust to make the contrast 0 or -2 or similar?

Currently there is no option to change the default auto-correction. Also there is no option to automatically add a style that I am aware off.

    Thanks for the reply Paul.

However, it kinda make the auto correct pretty useless for all Nikon D700 users, unless they are after high contrast/fully saturate images like those offered by high street portrait company chains :¬(

C1 4 makes really great conversions of the D700 RAW files, so I will keep with it for the moment. It's just a real PITA to make corrections and have to manually go through each image and reduce the contrast to an acceptable level.

Is there any way way to work around this? Any one else have a similar problem and found a solution? In C1 3.7.8 you could copy and paste the corrections and there was a box where you could select only the parameter (levels, curves, contrast, etc) to be applied and all the other parameters were left alone. Am I missing this in C1 4 or is it there some where?

In CO4 you still have total control over which adjustment to copy and apply to which other image. The way it works is a bit different. Have you seen the video tutorial at http://www.phaseone.com/4/
Go to the 'Go for Pro' page and look for the tutorials link (left below), select Adjustment & Styles video. Please note that the comment on the Shift-key modifier to apply adjustments to all selected images is outdated.

Thanks for the link Paul. I'll try and have a look at it later today if I get the chance.

    Nic.
