Serious problem - cannot access images
I am not technically minded, so please bare with me. I need to get photos to my Editor and I cannot access my images. I have two catalogs, when opening the main one I get a pop-up box saying.." Unable to open catalog. The catalog is currently in use by : "user name." The catalog can only be opened when no other users have it open. I also get an "Events" popup with the last event saying "Could not find ICC profile for process recipe.
If I open CO with the second catalog I get images but all with a strong green hue. Also a popup box that says.. "Cannot connect to capture server. Disabling tethered capture and live view."
Paul sent me information in a previous thread on how to get screen shots into a thread by pasting a screen shot in a post through to a link. I didn't understand what he was saying. Is it possible to expand on this by putting it language for the technically challenged? I ask because screen shots are important for communicating.
I have transferred from an old iMac to a new one in the last week. However, after some initial problems I had CO7 running without any problems. The only change in the last day or so was adding an external HD linked to Time Machine. Thanks, jp

I mentioned this in my last reply to you but again, please create a support case with Phase. This forum is a user to user forum and is only sporadically monitored by the dev team so for urgent matters such as this always always create a support case. The support team typically has a response time of less than 2 hours provided it isn't an international holiday.0 -
The catalog issue (in use by user name) good be a writelock issue.
Close CO7, in Finder go to the catalog and see for further instructions
