Canon body serial number not shown

Hi there,

Since some versions we can't see the serial number of all Canon bodies in the "Information" column anymore?!
There's just an empty space at "Seriennummer" (german version). No matter if CR2 or jpg
Pixel ratio, lens, firmware version etc are shown correctly)
The images have been imported with C1

This does not occur with the Canon DPP/Utility software

Any ideas?

Canon 1D X

C1 8.3.3 german version

OSX 10.10.5
Mac Pro 6,1; 3,7 GhZ Quad, 64 GB, 2x2GB VRAM

  After creating a support case, I got this message from Technical Support:
  
  "... In this case, the lack of serial number for some Canon cameras was a bug in Capture One 8. It has been fixed and is working properly in Capture One 9."

  Ah, had noticed this in V8 but it was not of much concern to me.
  
  I can confirm that it is not a problem now in V9.0.3 - at least not for the cameras I am using.
