metadata including IPTC
After you fill out all of the metadata info for an image - including the IPTC info - how do you preserve that info and then copy it to other images? Having just spent 4 hours with the manual and gotten nowhere, I am ready to switch to Aperture or Lightroom. It cannot be that difficult. I am determined to figure this out to save myself time. For the past 6 months, I have been doing all of the metadata info in Adobe Bridge and then transferring the images to Capture One because I can't figure this one out.
thanks!
thanks!

Preserving your metadata info you entered within CO5 does not require any particular action. CO5 is erasing it. Copying it to other images is the same like copying/applying any other adjustment. Of course you are using CO 5.1 for this purpose since this feature became available in this release. 0 -
Rob,
I think we sorted you out in a support case with a real quick video demo. Hope your all set on this issue, if you have further questions you can get back to me through the support case.0 -
Can I assume that IPTC templates like we had in V3 are now gone forever, never to return? 0 -
The IPTC template that once existed was proprietary. Now IPTC has a universal standard and that is what we try to conform to. 0 -

Though not tried myself, have you considered using Styles as IPTC templates?0
