How to revert to sessions using catalog adjustments
I've had a support case open since early Dec 15 for a range of issues. Can't undo a curves correction (takes 17 undo commands!), zooming to 100% doesn't give initial window in navigator and C1 deleting star ratings. Haven't had response for 10 days so opened another case quoting the previous one.
So their last suggestion was to completely delete C1 Pro V9 and do clean reinstallation, delete session file as they deemed it to have been corrupted; then use catalogs instead of sessions. I've used sessions for years.... Memory usage as documented by others here on the forum is significant and rises the longer C1 is left running. It seems higher for catalog than session. The switch to catalog after the above has cured only retention of star rating of image. The other problems still exist. Curves is most frustrating as I have to reset then reapply a std preset to try another curve variation, either that or create clone variant every time. Tedious! The other problem is when deleting files in a catalog it's a 2 stage process, pressing backspace then having to use mouse to say send it to the trash, thus doubling the workload over deleting files in sessions.
Thus I want to revert to using sessions herein lies the problem. When I open a session C1 does not see the adjustments I've given to images when working in the catalog. There is no 'pack as EIP' which I can use in catalog so that I could open a session, then unpack the EIPs with the edits transferring. Thus I'm faced with having to either re-edit 220 photos from scratch. I haven't yet tried having catalog and session open and copying adjustments from individual photos from catalog to the same one in the session, or worse still each individual setting on every photo.....! Obviously I'd rather not have to do this!
I've looked in knowledge base and online help but not found answers to the above. Anticipating more delay from Phase One for my support case, does anyone here have any guidance as to how I can proceed.

Has no-one any idea how to remedy this please? I've just tried opening a new session, can see adjustments on images when I last used sessions, but everything done since I used a catalog shows zero adjustments to images. I then tried opening catalog with a view to copying settings image by image to the session, but the session was closed by C1.
Does anyone know where the image adjustment files are stored by the catalog? If so, I could then perhaps copy them to the folder.0 -
I've discovered an option in Preferences to enable having both a catalog and session open simultaneously, so tedious as it is, I'm able to copy adjustments image by image into the session.
Issues about the zoom window in Navigator and inability to undo a change to a curve still remain. Has no-one else experienced this?0
